Always on the hunt to find ways to stay beautiful, recently I came across a cool product called the RapidLash Eyelash Renewal Serum. What does it do? RapidLash is an innovative high-performance serum that’s formulated with advanced polypeptides that works to help amplify the thickness , length and volume of your eyelashes. Best of all, it’s just a simple once a day application, not an annoy scenario where you have to be reapplying constantly throughout the day. Interesting also, it’s said to be ideal for both men and women.
Why’s RapidLash ideal for me? I’ve got weak, brittle, lashes, and this product is ideal for situations like this. It is also ideal for persons with thin or short lashes and eyebrows. Not all of us were blessed enough to have beautiful, long lashes, or perfect, flawless eyebrows, so a product like RapidLash certain saves the day here. There are quite a few other options (eyelash extensions, fake eyelashes, and eyebrow pencils) out there that do just what RapidLash does, but most importantly, these other products are time consuming (to apply and reapply throughout the day) and a lot more expensive than RapidLash.
While you’re at it, check out these eyelash growth products. If you aren’t one of the lucky ones with long lashes, check out these products which includes RapidLash and another one called RevitaLash. Enjoy!

French cosmetics maker L’Oreal appears to be no different from other make up companies, as it posted a 14% fall in profits, as the recession hindered spending on non-essential items. Net income for the 6-month period ending June 30, 2009 fell to EUR 1.08B (US$ 1.5B) from EUR 1.26B a year ago.
L’Oreal, the maker of Armani makeup and Lancome scents stated that the decrease in earnings was primarily the result of shoppers switching to cheaper brands. This in turn affected the company’s operating margin at its luxury division, shrinking 7.7% to 11.9% of total sales.

Summer’s almost done, but you’ve still got at least another two or three weeks to enjoy the warmth of the season. Here are a few summer beauty tips for you.
- Take care of your skin – eat the right foods and maintain a good skincare regimen. Strawberries are good for the skin, pomegranate contains important vitamins and nutrients, nuts are full of good fatty acids and blackberries are called ‘wrinkle-fighting’ berries because they contain antioxidants and prevent the cell damage that leads to wrinkles.
- Take care of your face – don’t overcleanse and overscrub it since that may cause flakiness and dryness.
- Take care of your body – use your body oils right after a bath or shower, and if you don’t have body oils, you can use olive oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil or even almond oil to pamper your skin.
- Stay fit – go to the gym, stretch regularly (to lengthen your muscles and burn calories), try Pilates (simple exercises that focus on the center of the body), walk regularly (around the block, up & down the stairs etc.), try your hand at dancing maybe even once per week.
- Don’t forget the makeup – makeup enhances every woman’s beauty. Start your day by using a hydrating cleanser, a gentle toner and a moisturizer with SPF to help keep your face clean and fresh.
Enjoy!

It seems as though the ladies have chosen to cut back on cosmetics and fragrances as one of the “unnecessary luxuries” during this extended recession that the U.S. and the rest of the world is experiencing. Unfortunately, this move translates into weak sales for popular beauty-products maker Estee Lauder which swung into a loss for its fourth quarter.
Estee Lauder reported a loss of US$17.9 million, drastically down from a profit of US$120.2 million a year ago. The Company has stated that in addition to feeble demand, restructuring costs further depressed its bottom line.

How about sparking your own fireworks this 4th of July? Whether you’re going boating all day, or to a family picnic at the beach, or even later on that night to go watch the fireworks, you can make your own sparks fly with my special 4th of July beauty tips.
- Step 1 – Start with a cleanser that suits your skin. How about one that’s a comforting blend of milk and oats and that’s also great for dry sensitive skin.
- Step 2 – Follow-up with a cool face moisturizer. How about one that has an SPF 30 and is loaded with antioxidants and blueberries.
- Step 3 – How about a gel cleanser that really leaves your skin silky and smooth – and squeaky clean as well.
- Step 4 – Moisturize with a matifying lotion – which is perfect for oily skin. It’ll moisturize, and most importantly, without the shine.
- Step 5 – It’s July and it’s warm and you don’t want to put on too much make up, but you can keep looking cool by using a light tinted moisturizer or bronzer
- Step 6 – Next sweep a neutral color over your lids, and just dot a darker shade such along the lash line.
- Step 7 – Add a few strokes of mascara … make your eyes POP like a firecracker!
- Step 8 – Last but not least, your lips – try a high-shine tinted lip gloss … great for hot summer days, and guaranteed to have eyes glued to your lips and smile. You can try switching to a darker shade when night falls.
That’s it … now you’re definitely ready to spark some of your own fireworks this 4th of July. Have fun and be safe!
