I Got A Custom Address Plaque

More beautification for the summer, yesterday I ordered a custom address plaque (sign) for our yard. A nice pretty sign that says “4678 MYROAD Name” (can’t tell you where :) ). No, I’m not trying to keep up with the Joneses and the Smiths next door but little personalized items add a good touch to the look of your house / yard and I’m all about having good-looking surroundings.

I got my address sign via justaddressplaques.com; they offer a world of address plaques and options, carrying all the top manufacturers of address plaques, as well as the latest styles and colors. Residential address plaques, commercial address plaques, address numbers, address posts, you name it and they’ve got you covered in this area and with the best low prices guaranteed too.

Be sure to check ‘em out if you’re on the market to beautify your home / yard for this summer.

Wooden Kitchen Products

Today I got on a roll after gettin a cool hanging stemware rack for my wine glasses. Now I’m thinking re-do my whole kitchen with quality wooden kitchen products, and I’ve found the place to get ‘em – JK Adams. Unfortunately, there’s no need for a cool JK Adams wine rack because I already got my hanging rack, but there’s still much more to consider – from cutting boards to pot racks, spice racks even!

I may sleep on this one for a day or two, but this 39-inch JK Adams pot rack (for the ceiling) is looking like a very strong possibility. It’ll look good hanging somewhere near the stemware rack. Check out the pic below. I’ll be hovering around this JK Adams direct website for a couple more days for sure, as I have a very strong feeling that a nice chunk cutting board and a spice rack carousel will soon be on order for delivery here :)

Wine Lovers, This One’s For You

Wine and beauty go hand in hand, and if you’re a wine lover like myself, and like to see your wine glasses displayed in really cool ways, then you need to check out the wine glass racks at glassstemwareracks.com. I happened across them earlier this morning, and as a confirmed shop-a-holic, I can tell you that you won’t be able to find cooler glass racks anywhere else on the web.

My goal today was to find a nice glass stemware rack, and I am very pleased with the hanging stemware rack (picture above) that I ended up getting. It can hold up to 24 glasses, hangs easily from the ceiling and just looks cool! Lots of other options available too – from all glass racks to cabinet glass racks to wall, floor and table glass racks. Options for days … go see for yourself.

How Quickly To Change Bedroom Furniture

Earlier this year, I was on a home decor and furniture buying binge, and got the XII NOTTE Bedroom Furniture Set by San Tiziano (Italy) by NYC Concept Furniture. They offer high quality modern designer furniture from Italy, Germany, Spain and Belgium. Well, yesterday I made the mistake of going back to their website to see if they had anything new … BIG MISTAKE. That visit now has me wondering if it’s normal to want to completely change a bedroom set in just a few months. Whether we can afford it or not is a whole other matter.

This new Tatami Italian bedroom furniture set by San Tiziano literally has me drooling. Check out the picture below. Really and truly, if you want modern furniture from Europe NYC Concept Furniture is your sure shot. I’m pondering calling them to see if I can somehow exchange what I bought a few months ago for the Tatami set. Go check ‘em out online, they’ve got everything for the home – furniture for kids, office furniture, entertainment centers, living room sets, bedroom sets, dining room furniture, TV stands, closets, wardrobes, you name it!

Conserve Water Today

I try to be as ‘green’ (i.e eco-friendly) as possible with our day-to-day life; we’ve got a solar water heater and sidewalk lights, we’re planning to get one of those new hybrid cars … the works … we’re serious. One aspect that I recently implemented was with regard to watering our plants. We seem to take water for granted here in America, but did you know that an American taking a five-minute shower uses more water than the typical person living in a developing country slum uses in a whole day? I don’t take water for granted, and I saw that lots of rain water that could be saved for another day was just going to waste.

So I implemented a rain harvesting system that uses several cool and cleverly disguised rain barrels to store water for use in the future. I got mine through simplyrainbarrels.com, and they offer several cool rain barrel options – from the plain, regular, plastic barrel design to real well designed ones that look like flower pots or garden fixtures. Get a rain barrel and conserve water today! Do your part to save our country and our planet for our children, and their children :)
